Tool.
It was supplied with 6 interchangeable cutters and a fence.

Preston Spokeshaves
The Preston No.1391 Adjustable Decorative Spokeshave.
It has Hollow Raised Handles, is Nickel Plated and is 10" long with
a Flat Face and 2" Cutter.

Brass Preston Copy.
Here we have a copy of Preston's No.1391 adjustable spokeshave in solid
brass but without the adjusting screw .
It was
probably made by a pattern maker.
The back and underside of the above spokeshave. No adjustment mechanism.
It has a good bit of age to it as it has been fitted with a "Stanley, Rule
& Level Co." blade.
This trade mark dates from 1905 - 1908.
Preston No. 1373 Registered Iron Spokeshave.
This is a Preston No. 1373 Registered Iron Spokeshave. It has hollow
raised handles, made from Malleable Iron and is Nickel Plated. It
is only 6" long and has a 1" cutter.
It looks tiny when compared to a standard sized spokeshave.
