
The Rapier No.3, 3 blade Plough Plane is fitted with Adjustable
Depth Gauge, Double Arm adjustable Bridged Fence and 1 pair of Fence Arms
and will cut 1/2" deep up to 4" from edge of boards.

Made by the Anglo Scottish Tool Co. of Gateshead in the 1950s & '60s, the plane
is 5-1/2" long
and came with 3 blade sizes, 1/8th",
3/16ths" and
1/4".

Often known as a "Drawer Bottom Plane" as it was frequently used to cut
the trenches in the sides of drawers to take
either panelled or ply bottoms.
