
The Record No.50A combination plane is a combined tool which will perform
most planing operations generally required in cabinetmaking and joinery,
namely, 1. Ploughing. 2. Dadoing. 3. Beading. 4. Centre Beading. 5. Rabbeting
and Filetstering. 6. Tongueing and Grooving.

A complete set of 15 cutters plus a clamping bracket allowing the use of two narrower cutters,
1/8" and 3/16" supplied as optionals, for grooves suitable for plywood.
It is fitted with spurs for cross-grain work, adjustable depth gauge, double arm adjustable bridged fence, beading
stop and also shaving deflector for use when tongueing. It will plough or rabbet 1/2" deep up to 5" from edge of boards.
