Record 042 Shoulder Rebate Plane

This is a great plane to use for trimming shoulders and cleaning rebates,
It measures 8” long x 3/4” wide.

 
The 041 and 042 do not have adjustable mouths as do the 07 series.
Originally, pre W.W.II, they shipped in a custom wooden box.

These planes are for fine and accurate work and the base and sides have been accurately ground.
They will lie quite flat on either side and can be used either left or right handed.
