Record 077A Improved Bull Nose Rebate or Rabbet Plane

This is a great little plane for trimming shoulders and cleaning stopped rebates.
The nose can be removed for chisel plane work allowing it into the corners of
stopped rebates.
It measures 4” Long x 1-1/8” Wide.

 

This bull nose also has an adjustable mouth. Adjustment is made by increasing or decreasing
the number of shims, (two being provided), between the nose-piece and the main body of the plane
giving four varying openings for fine or course work.

Pre WWII, it shipped in a wood box with sliding lid.
