A Norris A1 Panel Plane, 14 ½” long, 2 ½” wide cutter.
Here we see the unique Norris patent adjuster.
This plane has the 1913 patent No. 11526-13.
A later, improvement to the adjuster bore the patent No. 199198-22.
Although applied for in 1922, the patent wasn’t accepted till 1923.
These numbers can be found on the face of the adjustment knobs on planes made by T Norris & Son.
