Lovely Rosewood infill attached by the early method of production by screws
through the sides.

Its curved sides are dovetailed to the sole.
It has the early upside down “Spiers Ayr” mark on the gunmetal lever cap.

7 ½” long by 2 ½” wide, it has a 2 1/8” parallel cutter.
Alas, this plane is no longer with me. It is now residing
in a collection in Australia.
