Some Love ‘em - Some hate ‘em…Polished Planes,

But love them or hate them, you can’t deny that after my mate Dek has worked his magic on these planes, the Transformation is remarkable.

This Stanley #46 was near the end of the road. It’s a useful member of the woodworking community now.

This Stanley #55 looked ready for the scrap heap till it came our way.

Now it is back to it’s all singing, all dancing ways – with whistles & bells on.

What can we say about this poor, dilapidated specimen of a #49? It looks as if it’s at death’s door, poor thing.

This Stanley #113 had seen better days but it’s now restored to its former self and back to doing cartwheels once again.

A horribly abused little black bull nose…transformed.

The most respectable of the bunch – this No.45 could have ended up looking like the rest of this sad bunch if action hadn’t been taken to arrest it’s decline.

If you have a heap of rust that used to be a plane why not give it a new lease of life

or have it turned into a spectacular collection centre piece. Drop Dek an e-mail with a description of your plane and a few pics if possible. You will be pleasantly surprised at his very reasonable rates.
